The piece
The same form as the Morning Star Spike — sterling silver beads, three spike clusters, the MDA medallion at center — finished in oxidized titanium black with matched black crystals. The oxidation is hand-applied. Gives the piece a depth that polished metal can’t.
Adjustable closure. Wear it alone, stack it dark, or pair with the gold Morning Star for the contrast.
Why it’s named that
Same story as the gold Morning Star — the medieval weapon, the silhouette, the energy. The titanium black version is the one for the all-black uniform. Heavier, darker, more anonymous in the right way.
Care
The oxidized finish lightens at the high points with wear — that’s the patina, and it’s the point. Wipe with a soft cloth. Avoid lotion, perfume, and salt water on the crystals.
