The piece

8mm matte black onyx beads strung with sterling silver, with a sculpted spike pendant in oxidized titanium black at center. Two crystal-set rondelles sit on either side of the pendant — small, structural, sharp.

The family

Part of the MDA Onyx Bracelet line. The Spike is the heaviest of the four pendant forms — paired with the matte onyx beads, the piece reads as one form, not as a charm-and-bead. The Titanium Black is the version that disappears into a black sleeve and reappears at the wrist.

Care

Onyx is a hard stone but can chip on hard impact. The oxidation lightens at the high points with wear — that’s the patina, not damage.
