How To Measure
Here is an example of the length of our necklace chains. Chains come in different sizes depending on the design. Always refer to the product description for sizing information.
The piece
The same Corinthian helmet pendant as the bright silver version, finished in charcoal. The darker tone reads closer to ancient bronze — appropriate to the form. Detail in the crest and cheek-pieces becomes more legible in the darker finish.
22-inch sterling silver chain. Sits at sternum height. The piece for the days you’re wearing all black anyway.
Why we made it
The polished version is the brand’s classical reference. The charcoal version is the same form aged. Some men prefer brightness, some prefer weathered. We don’t think one is more correct than the other.
Care
The charcoal finish is hand-applied and lightens at the high-wear edges over time. That’s the patina. Wipe with a soft cloth after wear. Don’t polish — that strips the finish.
